helping veterans two wheels at a time

Each day, an estimated 20 Veterans lose their life by suicide. Many need something to hang on to - a group of fellow warriors with whom they can relate, a reason to keep pushing forward. Camaraderie is a key element in sustaining mental health. Introducing Vets to motorcycling, and like-minded fellow Veterans, is an excellent way of establishing long-lasting friendships.
Our Mission

Motorcyclists around the world recognize the therapeutic value of riding. Operation of a motorcycle requires a singular focus, thereby blocking out almost everything else around (inside or out) while riding. We will provide the motorcycle, facilitate training opportunities, provide protective clothing and pay for one year of insurance.

Money raised at local charitable events only goes so far. We need your support as a Sponsor or Donor to be able to help offset the costs of getting a bike, all the necessary safety gear. Please help us reach the next Veteran who needs some “cycle therapy.”
It is our sincere hope that this program will increase a sense of personal value, foster camaraderie and decrease potential for suicide.
To that end, we have established these Goals:
>To acquire a new or used-but-serviceable motorcycle with a displacement greater than 750cc, protective gear and other items as may be appropriate to prepare a person for the sport of motorcycling.
>To identify an honorably discharged Veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States who might benefit from the sport of motorcycling.
>To provide training opportunities for new motorcyclists or those returning to the sport after an absence.
>To provide a path for improving riding skills through Mentorship with an experienced rider.
>To provide introductions to local motorcycle and Veteran organizations so as to provide the potential to foster camaraderie and brotherhood with other Veterans and motorcyclists
>To secure sponsorship and partnership with motorcycle dealers, manufacturers, builders and other motorcycle- and veteran-related individuals and organizations so as to ensure continued funding to support the goals of this organization.
